After hunting whitetails for a number of
years, I was instantly hooked on turkey hunting after filming my first
hunt. It is an even greater blessing that I was able to start an
outdoor store, Eagle Creek Outfitters,
along with some help, and watch this company grow. I enjoy spending
time in the outdoors but the environment of the store is just as good.
I also enjoy filming an editing hunts, and web & graphic design.
Prior to opening the company, I was
involved in retail sales and law enforcement. Being a gun enthusiast,
I obtained a state certification in firearms instruction.
I currently attend First Baptist Church in
Waynesboro, Tennessee where I assist in youth ministry. Meeting "Opie"
through church and the business venture we felt led to start "Team ECO
Ministry".

Steve "Opie" Thomas has been hunting for
most of his life. Opie has traveled the country leading worship at multiple
churches and camps. You may remember him from "Centrifuge". Opie
joined Team ECO as an owner in October of 2008.

 Jimmy "JBow"
Turnbow

Jimmy “JBow” Turnbow
started hunting whitetails at the age of 12 and has not slowed down
since. While deer hunting remains his first love of the outdoors chasing
wily ole long beards has now come to be a close second. As much as he
enjoys harvesting wildlife, it is not just about the hunting for JBow.
He points out that to him a man is closer to God when he is 20 feet off
the ground and uses his hunting time as a time to get closer to God and
to meditate on the Bible.
Jimmy surrendered to the
call to the ministry in 1991 and currently serves as the Pastor of the
Panoramic Church in Summertown, TN. When given the opportunity to work
with Team ECO Outdoor Ministries he saw it as an opportunity to combine
two of the things that mean so much to him into one work for the Kingdom
of Heaven.
He is quick to tell
everybody that he is blessed, but points out that the greatest blessings
in his life is his wife Mary who allows him to use the gifts and talents
that God blessed him with, without to much fussing.

David "Shorty"
Horner
David "Shorty" Horner has been hunting all
types of wild game for most of his life. Shorty is an asset to ECO
operations specializing in a videography services. He hardly ever misses
an opportunity to take a camera into the woods in hopes of catching the
thrill of a lifetime on camera!
Shorty joined Team ECO in 2006, and adds a
wealth of knowledge concerning the outdoors, to the store.
