Welcome to Rocky Top Game Calls. We specialize in Custom made game calls hand crafted from premium woods and materials.  Each call is hand tuned for the perfect pitch, tone and roll-over. Our unique designs, shapes and wood combinations set us apart from other call makers, enabling us to build calls that are not only easy to use but produce true and realistic wild game sounds. We offer a full line of hand made calls, from turkey to deer. They're designed and tested by hunters for hunters to give you a distinct advantage in the woods.

We're constantly striving to select woods for our friction calls that offer unique grain features, thus making each call as beautiful as it is effective. The combination of different woods with our innovative designs create awesome turkey sounds. We hand match each lid to box to create calls that perform subtle purrs to aggressive cutts and yelps with ease. Plain and simple, our friction calls perform flawlessly. Our wood calls have round and sanded edges to provide maximum comfort in the turkey vest. All of our friction calls are sealed with a minimum of 3 coats of Minwax polyurethane, offering finishes from satin to high gloss. 

Our premier box calls are laminated using a variety of select woods, and come in either long or short box styles. We also offer long and short solid wood boxes in walnut, cedar, mahogany or cherry. Lid choices for either include; alder, persimmon, cherry, mahogany, walnut and cedar. The box portion is designed with fluted sides that enable the fingers or thumb to control the tone of the call without changing lid pressure. By moving the thumb or finger(s) up or down in the flute, the pitch and volume of the call changes. What this translates to is more versatility and realistic turkey talk.

With assistance from our lasering associate we can have your box call lid engraved from any quality contrasting photo you provide. Whether it's a picture of a successful hunt with you and your bird or maybe your kids or family, you can have a truly custom call like no other.

Our signature slate calls have a bowled bottom that adds superior acoustics to the inner sound board. This, along with custom components, creates crisp yelps, cutts and purrs that are true to perfection. The call pots are built primarily of Cherry and Walnut (we find these two materials to be exceptional in sound quality). For the collector, we offer special limited series of various imported and exotic woods. Our pot style calls come in slate, anodized aluminum, powder blasted glass or crystal for the striking surface. For consistent tones our sound boards are made primarily of glass, although we can build to your preference of glass, aluminum, wood (cherry) or slate. When matched with our custom turned strikers our slate calls offer a deadly combination you've got to hear to believe.

Take your calling to the next level with the "Dead on Double" friction call.  RTGC has introduced a double sided "slate style" friction call, that produces the most authentic turkey sounds to date.

This call is available in Crystal or Glass on the face, and Slate on the under side. This call is easy to use, and once you've ran this one, you'll see what we mean by:

Each pot style call comes with your choice of a premium hand built striker. Our hand turned strikers are bell tipped for ease of use and are perfectly matched in size and weight for our calls. Our strikers come in, Cherry, Persimmon, Walnut, Hickory and  Laminated one piece styles. We also build plexi, carbon, purple heart and hickory inserted style strikers with straight tips and premium wood head weights. Our strikers would also compliment any slate style call you may already own.

With the latest whitetail buck research comes a creative call Rocky Top has named the Hyper-Grunt. Don't let it's traditional looks fool you. It can also simulate the aggressive grunting a buck makes during the peak of the rutting cycle, proven to bring in mature and subordinate bucks alike during the peak of the rutting frenzy. We've use a turned wooden barrel mouth piece with a custom designed "0" ring adjustable reed to create a variety of deer vocalizations, from a young doe bleat to the big buck tending grunt to the aggressive Hyper Grunt. Best deer grunt you'll ever use.
