Hello my name is Chris Eck, founder of Rocky Top Game Calls. I was born raised and still reside in Lawrence County, Tennessee. My wife Lorre continues to be my biggest fan and I'm constantly inspired by her faith in me and the good Lord. I've been hunting for over thirty five years and the thrill of the outdoors and enjoying God's gift of nature has only increased with each passing season. I learned a lot about hunting and a lot about life from my dad (aka Hoss). Even though he passed away several years ago, I still feel most near to him when I'm in the woods. I feel the respect he had for nature and wildlife, a respect that he instilled in me early on. My goal as a call designer and builder is to offer a custom crafted call that mimics to perfection the sounds of various wild game. Our current line of calls focuses primarily on the wild turkey and deer, but we look forward to other style game calls in the future. We at Rocky Top hold dear the traditions of the hunt, not for the sake of killing but taking in all of what the great outdoors has to offer. The teaching, sharing and fellowship of the hunt with our youth should be something we all do as responsible sportsmen. It may sound cliche' but "Take a kid hunting and you'll have a hunter for life" holds very true and will do wonders for securing our sport for generations to come.
