Eagle
Creek Outfitters originated in 2006, when a few avid sportsmen by
the names of Bryant Burcham, Keith Reeves, and Emmett Slone, whom
worked together at the Waynesboro Police
Department thought that it would be fun to film their favorite past
time, hunting.
After capturing some outstanding footage, they decided to recruit some of
the most dedicated turkey hunters and videographers in the
area. With the addition of Larry Salts, and Steve "Opie" Thomas, the doors flew open for Eagle Creek
Outfitters. The newly developed crew, now known at Team ECO began
gathering and editing footage that would resulted in the expansion of
the company.
Bryant, Keith, & Emmett decided that they did not
want to stop with just producing videos, and therefore opened the
doors to ECO's Outdoor Store, & Guide service,
March 2008, in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
ECO started developing many
working relationships in the hunting industry. Teaming up with Chris
Eck & Prostaffers, of Rocky Top Game Calls, ECO started getting involved with Hunting
For a Cure which benefits St. Jude's Children's Hospital, and
miscellaneous shows and conferences.
In the spring of 2009, Bryant and Keith
dissolved their partnership in the Outdoor Store but remain a part of
Team ECO Ministry.
Emmett is fairly new
to both deer and turkey hunting, but brings a great knowledge of web
design, graphic design and editing skills to our team. He has been
hunting whitetails for 5 years, and was hooked instantly on
turkey hunting after filming his first hunt with both Keith and
Bryant. Emmett is also
a state certified firearms instructor and gun enthusiast. Emmett is an
additional ECO webmaster. If you have any questions
or comments feel free to send him an email at
eslone@eaglecreekoutfitters.com.
Emmett is a member of First Baptist Church
in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Emmett is a minister for TEAM ECO MINISTRY.
Emmett is also a Patrol Officer for Clifton Police Department in
Clifton, Tennessee. He has been serving in law enforcement since
2005. Prior to Law Enforcement Emmett worked/managed retail
stores in Wayne County, Tennessee.

Steve "Opie" Thomas has been hunting for
most of his life. Opie is the Youth and Music Minster for First
Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Prior to being the minister
for FBC, Opie traveled the country leading worship at multiple
churches and camps. You may remember him from "Centrifuge". Opie
joined Team ECO as an owner in October of 2008.
